East Riverside Corridor Master Plan

This multi-modal corridor pedestrian, transit and bicycle oriented master plan was the result of a focused public planning effort to ensure future development is intentional and high quality and is guided by a community vision for the area. The corridor is 3.5 miles in length and occupied approximately 1000 acres. Much of the corridor was rated by participants as having a high to moderate susceptibility to change. Four new transit stations were proposed. A framework of new streets and blocks was planned, onto which a range of housing and mixed-use building would be built overlaid with a network of open spaces and bicycle paths . The highest densities would be constructed with the primary five to ten minute walking distance.
