New Community
Broody Creek, Little Rock, Arkansas
This community was planned and designed for the Allison family’s multi-acre hunting retreat. It was generated through the design charette process as four distinctive neighborhoods, with a small town center, nestled into the hills of Little Rock . It was one of the first communities in Arkansas to adopt a form-based code containing a street and building regulating plan with architectural standards to protect the beauty of the site. It was the fist form-based code to withstand a legal challenge in Arkansas but would not be accepted by local builders. Only the East Neighborhood was constructed.
